Manage Your Diet and Appetite with Sugar Control

I’m going to keep this mostly festive. Enough of the serious stuff! I will however, give you all a bit of useful info that may help you eat a little less this festive season- Yes please!!!

Sugar Control = Appetite Management

I have over the many years in my quest for getting better in my industry, used or tried a wide variety of supplements. The best combination by far I have found for sugar control are Chromium Picolinate and Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Both these supplements taken together promote the metabolisis of insulin. Alpha Lipoic Acid is also an excellent antioxidant.

Chromium Picolinate is a dietary supplement and which is found in glucose tolerance factor in the body, or GTF, an important cofactor for insulin in the regulation of blood sugar in the body, necessary for proper metabolism.

Alpha Lipoic acid is an antioxidant , and helps in the prevention of various diseases. It helps break down toxicity in the liver, by increasing the production of glutathione.As an antioxidant it also helps neutralize free radicals in our bodies, and protects cells from damage . Cell damage is caused by molecules that are depleted of electrons by free radicals , or unstable molecules.

The optimum dosage for sugar / appetite control using this great combination is:

  • Chromium Picolinate:: 200 MCG
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid: 300MG
  • Take together twice per day @ breakfast & lunch

I recently read a quote from the book, “Finish Strong,” by Dan Green, that was just awesome.  It said, “To the world you may be just one person…but to one person you may be the world.”  How inspirational!

What I really like about this is how each of us has the opportunity to be a “difference maker” every day. When you are talking with the person in front of you or on the other end of the phone, stay present. We are all busy, our minds are always full of our own schedule, and sometimes it takes a significant conscious effort to be present with friends, colleagues, co-workers, family members, and strangers. However, it is always worth it. Stop thinking about your next words or where you need to be, and instead, start listening with your mind, body, and heart.

As you strive to balance all that you do in a day (work, exercise, family obligations, social affairs, volunteering, etc.), remember that the person who is in front of you or on the phone with you may be the one person who really needs YOU right now. Stay focused on this every day, and stay present with the people you come into contact with so that you can listen to them and encourage them!
