Are You Eating Enough?

Did you know that many diets can  cause you to GAIN WEIGHT, INSTEAD of losing  the weight you want to lose? When we restrict the amount of food we eat, usually eating less frequently, we restrict our daily calorie intake to the point of lowering our Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which means slowing our metabolism down to the point of whatever we eat sticks!

With eating less or lowering calories, eating less frequently, we actually put our body into a starvation mode. It will become increasingly difficult to lose fat. The longer you restrict food, and the fewer calories you consume, the body will go into a ‘Famine’ mode, and in turn store up as much fat as it can to survive the ‘famine’!

Unfortunately, this is common with many diets, and one of the many reasons why people experience plateaus or Yo Yoing  while following diets. The body may be reacting in a way that causes it to hold on to fat.

The best way to avoid this from happening is to eat LESS MORE OFTEN!
